Rochelle + Jon = 1 Year Together

Rochelle and Jon are celebrating their first year as a couple and I think that is just wonderful. I am one who loves to celebrate life’s every milestone and am happy that they chose me to capture this part of their journey.

This was Jon’s first time in front of the camera as part of a couple and he did awesome, even though he wasn’t sure what to expect. Incorporating his love of the VA Tech Hokie football team with the throw made for him, his VT football and Rochelle in her jersey was so cute.

When I asked them to dance for some photos, I discovered that this was their first time dancing together. They did great so I am sure it won’t be the last time!

The story board that Rochelle made with the highlights of their year together is perfect and ends with “the best is yet to come”. I am looking forward to seeing what is in store for this sweet couple in the future! ♥

Logan’s Paternity Session

When we were unable to have a planned maternity session with Logan and his girlfriend, we decided to do something that we had never seen before – a paternity session! It was so much fun that I think every expectant dad should do one, even if he is in a maternity session too.

Logan’s mom, Alison, is very creative and has so many cute nursery decorations plus his baby Converse tennis shoes and matching Vans that were incorporated into the session. She also brought photos of the mom-to-be, ultrasound pics, a blue smoke bomb, toys with special meaning and a Daddy diaper bag! Isn’t that just the neatest?!

Logan has left the football field to work part time while in school and he is giving up his sports car for an SUV but he is so ready to be a daddy! His faith is strong and he has grown a lot in the past few months. I wish him, Carrigan and Baby Cayson a lifetime of love and happiness.
