Rochelle + Jon = 1 Year Together

Rochelle and Jon are celebrating their first year as a couple and I think that is just wonderful. I am one who loves to celebrate life’s every milestone and am happy that they chose me to capture this part of their journey.

This was Jon’s first time in front of the camera as part of a couple and he did awesome, even though he wasn’t sure what to expect. Incorporating his love of the VA Tech Hokie football team with the throw made for him, his VT football and Rochelle in her jersey was so cute.

When I asked them to dance for some photos, I discovered that this was their first time dancing together. They did great so I am sure it won’t be the last time!

The story board that Rochelle made with the highlights of their year together is perfect and ends with “the best is yet to come”. I am looking forward to seeing what is in store for this sweet couple in the future! ♥

Jess: The Beauty Spot

I have been wanting to go to The Beauty Spot since the first time my daughter told me about the gorgeous views. It did not disappoint.

Hiking and candid photos are two of Jess’s favorite things and we were able to incorporate a little of both into her session. It was a perfect day, even though it rained us out and I am looking forward to visiting more of her favorite places. ♥
