Logan & Carrigan: Elopement 1st Look

This session was originally supposed to be an engagement session for Carrigan and Logan’s September wedding but I was asked the night before if I would do their first look for them before they traveled to Gatlinburg to be married. We decided to meet early morning in Kingsport at The Greenbelt before the couple went to City Hall to get their marriage license. There were tears and smiles and lots of joy as this couple began their married life together.

I’m so happy that I was there to capture these memories. Even better, there’s still going to be a wedding celebration in September. I can’t wait to be a part of it! ♥

Logan, Carrigan & Colton: Family Engagement

When I was asked to photograph this sweet little family so they could have some pictures together as a family, I jumped at the chance. I have had the pleasure of taking Logan’s photos over the past five years (with his family and alone) and Colton’s on three occasions last year. Finally, after a few complications in their relationship, I finally got to meet Carrigan and I’m so glad that I did.

We didn’t really plan for this to be an engagement session; that was to be at a later date but that’s exactly what it ended up being. When you have waited over a year to be together, things start happening quickly, especially when you know that being together with your son is what was intended to be. They have a lot of love and I am so thankful to be able to capture that.
