Sarah & John: Engaged

Sarah and John are getting married this summer so we decided to do their engagement session in February and were even hoping for some snow. Fortunately and unfortunately, it was a beautiful, unseasonably warm day. Fortunate because we were able to bring out John’s classic restored Corvette for the session, something we could not have done had it been snowing. Unfortunate because Sarah and I did not get the snow session we had hoped for! Either way, this couple is amazing and their session was so much fun.  I cannot wait to shoot their wedding in Charleston this July.

 

Mojo Photography Workshop with JOPHOTO

I was hesitant to sign up for the Mojo Photography Workshop presented by JOPHOTO at first due to the fact that it was held on February 8 in Knoxville, TN and I was so afraid the weather would not cooperate. Thankfully, we had no snow and it was warm enough to shoot outside of the beautiful Maple Grove Inn with our beautiful models from Gage Talent.

Heather  Watson from Jane-of-all-trades and Anthropologie was the guest speaker who shared her many talents with the group.

Joe and Kathleen are the best! They are two of the nicest most genuine people that you will ever meet and they are not hesitant to share their tips, skills and knowledge with other photographers. It does not matter if you are a new photographer just starting out in this business or if you are a seasoned professional, they will help you and they do not take your money and then leave you hanging after the workshop ends. They become your friends on social media and will continue to answer your questions even in the midst of their busy lives. I cannot say enough about how great they are.
